About Us
2018 Summary:
The UNSDG that we would like to focus on is ‘Sustainable Cities and Communities.”
What We Will Post:
a) Ways to Save Water
b) Global Reports
c) Water Conservation Articles
2020 Approach:
There is a need to work towards water sustainability and conservation, now more than ever. Water scarcity was listed in 2019 by the World Economic Forum as one of the largest global risks in terms of potential impact over the next decade. This battle for sustainability needs a global response because, as JK Rowling once said, "“We are only as strong as we are united".
Welcome to World Water4Life.
What is WW4L?
WW4L is an initiative working towards advocating for water conservation, giving tips & tricks to decrease water wastage and incentivising everyone reading to decrease their water consumption.
We will be updating this blog weekly with new articles on (a) ways to save water, (b) global water reports and (c) creative articles or research reports. WW4L will also upload weekly memes in order to engage all age groups as this water crisis is an issue that we all need to tackle as a united group of people.
WW4L will also be active on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook to advocate for water conservation so please hit those accounts up with a follow and stay tuned!

Thank you for standing by with me and with the world. We can all make a difference if we try.
We plan on designing a water catchment system that collects rainwater and uses it for various purposes, such as for drainage systems (flushing toilets), (hydroponic) agriculture, and filtration for consumption, washing and food preparation.
We have chosen to focus on water because it is a vital element in life for all, as it is used for washing, cooking, agriculture, and most importantly, drinking. Finding more ways to provide this resource is very beneficial to the general public and ensures that the supply doesn’t run out.
The method through which we want to achieve this goal is by creating a social campaign to raise awareness, specific to water wastage, and designing a prototype which would assign specific quantities of water to a designated function (filtration/hose reel/drainage system).
We were inspired by how UWC reuses rainwater for the drainage system in school, and wanted to incentivise other schools and apartment buildings in Singapore to do the same. The campaign will serve to have an impact locally, however, if given the opportunity, it could be expanded.
We also think that our subject will be beneficial to Singapore as there is a lot of rain during the monsoon season, which is not reused and goes to waste. In such a hot environment, our citizens must stay hydrated and clean, and the amount of water we import from overseas would be greatly reduced if we could harness the resources around us.
